Thomas Clarke Howlett is an independent designer based in London and specialises in creative, insightful solutions for retail design and branded environments.

He studied Interior Design & Environmental Architecture at Ravensbourne College and since graduating in 2004 has worked at prestigious agencies such as Fitch and Household Design. Notable clients include, Virgin Media, Julien Macdonald, Black (Dixons), Soho House Group, Waitrose, Aurora Fashion, Poke and Christian Louboutin.

His work has been published in Frame's Powershop tome, Viewpoint, Design Week, Casa D, FX, OnOffice, Monocle, and most recently won 3 awards for the 'Black' project in 2011's Retail Week Design Awards.
